I may have missed this, so excuse me re-mentioning it (if): I'd like a remake of the old hornbuttons (puck), e.g. for the 4-spoke RS-steeringwheels.

crumbling old baquelite ones are about 3-400 $ nowadays !!

crazy price from rosepassion…

A new replacement dash that's as good as original (if not better) that FITS.

If I was running Porsche Classic, I'd have someone assigned to continually monitor the Porsche Classic Restoration shops and solicit their feedback about availability and quality of parts.

Porsche Classics does make a nice orange bar large (not 356 size) hood crest for less than $190. Our hosts at Pelican have them here or you can order them from any Porsche Dealer. The part number is 901 559 210 27:

Haven't read the whole thread; apologies if this is a repeat:

Rear reflector panel for G-body cars with Porsche script molded in (not as a decal on top); and would like to see this offered two ways:

#1 - Just the reflector and hardware kit

#2 - Reflector with integrated LED strips that can be wired to brake and marker light circuits (along with hardware and wiring kit)

Those blasted yellow screwdriver handles in SC/Carrera tool kits. The ones left go for over $100 each. For a screwdriver handle.

Once you guys get your collapsible spare tires, you’re gonna need to then make an air pump that actually works... SC variety (or earlier) are garbage

I got targa visors from "some place in OH". The visors are basic but look nice. They come with pivots that are absolute junk so keep your originals. And cheap compared to OE.

Door check stay part #964 537 057 00 that don't need to be taken apart and modified before use!

And might I suggest our host changes their policy about returns on factory parts? If I pay a couple hundred dollars for a pair of rubber seals for quarter windows and they don't fit, I'm stuck with them, and Pelican, and Porsche, remain unaware that there is any problem with the part, while I go buy something else, somewhere else. Some sort of collaborative effort to ensuring the quality of the parts and satisfaction of customers would be a way to add value in an age where we can all just google the part number and find the cheapest price.

Remake seat rails

I'm sure everyone's rails are beat up, ball bearings have worn divots in the rails, etc. No brainer to remake as far as I'm concerned. Thanks!

Engine cooling fans and housings for 911 SC and Carrera. The aftermarkets require a lot of massaging to get them to fit correctly, and who knows how good of a job they did balancing the fan.

Seat Sliders

Hi - really surprised that no-one has mentioned seat sliders to this point. The sliders on my '83SC are likely in the same shape as everyone else - the ball bearings have worn down the channels leaving divots which impairs or stops the ability to actually slide.

Thanks!
