911 SC - Hard Start Hot/Cold

I am new to the forum. Picked up a 1978 SC a couple weeks ago. It started hard since I got and after about a week it would not start at all. After doing much research from other members on here, I did a pressure test and my residual pressure dropped almost immediately.

I replaced the fuel pump, filter and accumulator today. The car now start after one turn of the key. I just wanted to post this to tank all of the members having similar issues I was able to do enough research to solve my problem.

Thank you!

Good you got the car running again. But did you determine the culprit/s causing your residual fuel pressure loss? So next time you have residual fuel pressure loss, you will replace everything around? This is a very expensive way to troubleshoot. Replace only defective parts after testing them.
