993 Shocks & Short Springs problem

Hello,

I have KONI FSD ACTIVE Shocks & Eibach Short Springs. I fixed then on my 1996 Porsche 993 C4. The front height is right. However, the rear height is low (rubbing issues in some rough roads). The Shock OD is 50mm. I need the right size of Coil-over Sleeve that would adjust the height accordingly. Kindly help🙏🏻

Adel

Perhaps a relatively inexpensive solution is to install an appropriate spacer between the coil spring and its spring seat. I assume there's no adjustability, but a spring seat on your shock.

Thank U for the reply. However, a coil over sleeve would give an option to adjust to right height. Here is an option that might work. Not sure though?

I've used the QA-1 type spacers quite often on coilovers. Just make sure the shock body fits the spacer, and check the spacer for clearance issues when installed in the car. Use torque seal on the adjusting nuts to verify that they're not creeping down. Or put a bead of RTV from the nut to the threads.
