oil tank install
Is the rubber gasket suppose to go through the sheet metal oval hole or but up against it? Been out of the car for so long I can't remember. If it does go through it looks like it could be a bit of a challange. A pic of this area would be really helpful.

I just butts up against it from the inside of the fender. I just had mine out a month ago during the engine rebuild.

Thanks, I had the engine out for the rebuild and I figured while it was out I maight as well take advantage of the space to clean and paint. Here is one after everything was back in.
