Hi there,
I’m hunting down some problems with the CIS on my bone stock 1974 911 with a 2.7. There are two wires that come off the thermo time switch. In looking over the wiring diagram it appears that one wire activates the cold start injector based on temperature. The other wire provides power for a heating element inside the thermo time switch itself. Again, looking over the wiring diagram, it appears that when I have the hand throttle pulled up and the key on, thereby lifting the lever off the micro-switch on the side of the throttle body, that I should be getting 12 volts to power the heating element in the thermo time switch. Needless to say I’m not and I’m not getting any power at the micro-switch either. Should I be or am I missing something? Thanks! Mike |

Another important piece of information is that this circuit only receives power while the starter is cranking. Jim
