TOB new, pressure plate and clutch question

So Iíve installed pp, clutch an TOB. Followed the guide for washer, spring washer, thrust washer and circlip. When all installed I can slide my TOB around easily til it hits the pp fingers.

Wonder if this is expected, or should it be snug. The old one is snug but itís also grimy and gritty. Not pristinely clean like the new stuff.

Should it slide around if I move it?

You should be able to move it around but should not be flopping around loose.
PP = Presure Plate

Thanks Ivan and porschyard,

it’s not flopping around but I can move it around. Just wanted some opinions from folks who might have done it more than once (unlike me, a single time). It’s great to get feedback

Ivan: pp fingers are just the pressure plate part the TOB sits on.
