Install ZF 964 turbo LSD to 911 3.2 G50
 

Hi, my name is Shinji, Japanese 1987 911 owner.SmileWavy
I got ZF 964 turbo LSD (genine) and tried it to install my 911 3.2 NA with G50.
After the LSD installation, when I rotated a joint flange, I could not rotated it (It was completely fixed)
When I loosened transmission cover bolts a little, the flange was rotated well.
I again removed the LSD and checkd sims and bearings but these were no problem.

I thought ZF 964 LSD fits 911 with G50 mission.:confused:
Do I need to replace sims and adjust backlash?
Could you give me some advises?
I hope I had some mistake...

You absolutely need to reset the backlash. The ring gear flanges aren’t the same thickness. This is why there are two different length ring gear bolts.
