Oil cooler install
My "77" originally came with No trombone oil cooler or lines up in the front fender. In "99" the PO installed the 3.2 and didn't update with any type of additional cooling for the larger engine. I'm in the process of searching the best and most affordable coolers out there. My budget is about 800.00 and I really like the "widemouth" that elephant racing has. Is it wise to go with used cooler lines or some stainless flex or keep saving for the new finned lines and do it all new?
The car is in the 180-210 temp range right now and can be pushed if running hard to 230. I'm thinking of doing a couple of Autocrosses this year and I havn't had it long enough to see any summer temps. It does not have a/c so no extra load on the engine. Thanks for any help

funny thing, I have a 77 Targa with a 3.0. I just put in this week the Mocal 42 row with the SS lines they provided...took about 5-6 hours to do myself..though I am mechanical inclined. my temps were like yours now nothing past 200 Def F. drive hard shifting at 5800.
