Swapping Out Seats and There are Additional Electric Adjustments

I have an '87 Carrera that has a power driver's seat. The seat has a total of two two-way switches. Both have the up/down buttons only. They adjust the front of the seat bottom up/down and the back of the seat bottom up/down. Looks like this:

I purchased a different seat, also from a Carrera, and this seat also has a power driver's seat. HOWEVER, this seat has a two-way switch and a four-way switch. My understanding is that the left/right buttons on the four-way switch move the rear seatback forwards and backwards. It looks like this:

Because of the additional electric adjustment, this seat does not have the second manual lever that controls the rear seatback.

Is the factory wiring harness within my car the same regardless of the seat type? That is, if I plug the harness connector into this seat can I expect the seatback recline motor to work? Or am I screwed?

Same thing. Plug and play.

I wonder if 3 switch per side of car, and 4way per switch would also plug and play?

I did the swap years ago and on one car I vaguely remember moving some pins around on the harness, but I believe it was on the seat side, not the car side. From memory, I believe the car harness has everything you need, key-on power/switched, for seat heat, and constant power for seat adjustment

Than you! Had those seats 20 years ago with that option. Saw some recently driver's side only with the 3 (one side) and 4 way switch freshly recovered and good job in black leather. Still thinking about them, but wished the passenger's side was the same. That was only 2 X 4way switch. Still tempted if the set isn't sold by the time I get the money or time. My originals were out of a BTR III Ruf, so the goal was to go back to original spec.

If it isn’t plug and play then just jump power and/or ground from the other wires in the plug

I can confirm that it was indeed plug and play. Totally stoked!
