This winter I had my throttle body repaired (There was a lot of play in the arm that hits the microswitch.) Anyways, I had an experienced friend get the throttle body off for me. I believe I re-connected the hoses correctly but does anyone have documentation (Visual optimal) for the proper hose connections on a 83 911SC? I would also like to verify the connections for the microswitch. If I am looking at the microswitch from behind the car, I belive brown should be left and green should be right. I would appreciate if someone could verify this. Finally my car is now backfiring (Thankfully I installed a pop-off valve from Pelican this winter). I am sure the adjustment on the throttle body is off. What is the procedure to adjust it. To summarize my confusion....
1. I need to verify my hose connections 2. I need to verify my microswitch connection 3. I need to adjust the screw on my throttle body If anyone could help that would be great. I know my friend has got a lot of stuff more important than my car going on and I dont' want to bother him. Thanks again, Matt |
