Ideas for temporary seats

My seats are out for re-upholstering; it's taking longer than planned, so I'm thinking about having the carpet re-done while the seats are not in the way.

I need some kind of temporary seat to be able to get it to the carpet guy - about 6 miles.

Any ideas on how to rig up a temporary seat?

Quickstep,

I drove my car to the paint shop with a temporary seat by using an old plastic lawn seat I found on the curb. Trimmed the four (4) legs to fit and secured the front end from tilting backward. I actually drove with the OEM seatbelts to the paint shop located less than a mile away. I know someone used a milk crate to test drive his 911.

Whichever direction you go for your seat selection, drive safely and avoid the hi-way as much as possible.
