Brake pads - 'thin plate'
I heard some squiring noise just after I release the brake so I decided to disassemble my front brakes.
I removes all for brake pads. The 'plastic?' plate on one of the brake pads was not attached to the brake pad anymore. Can someone explain what these plates are for? And can I glue the plate back on to the brake pad or should I replace them? Can this released plate be the cause of the squiring noise? Thanks, Hedde |

are they anti squeel plates, if so I think some grease is used when they are installed.
