Fuel line grommets
Good afternoon everyone & happy 4th of July
I have just removed my old fuel lines and plan on installing my new lines this holiday weekend. To remove the old lines I ended up destroying two of the grommets that go in to the body. Because I have two diameters of fuel line I need two different size (ID & OD). I found this one but according to the PET there is only one size. |

The large grommet: OD = 20mm - ID = 12.5mm
The small grommet: OD = 16mm - ID = 8.3mm The I'd of the small grommet best fits my new aluminum fuel linesl ![]() ![]() |

![]() ![]() Looks like you have a 74 with those damned white (now brown) Nylon Tunnel lines. Good move to replace them. The grommet replacements you show are for the later models S, SC and Carrera. You need the Grommets that were for the small dia line on the 914 model, w P/N 914.356.201.00..... I have these in stock. Also, in case you need them I have Compression rings to fit your Aluminum tube with standard M14 Fuel Fittings as well as for AN-6 or AN -8. Hope this helps. Good luck. Got to keep these wonderful cars on the road for generations to come. Len.Cummings at verizon.net ![]() |

![]() ![]() Bump! There are still a few 74 911 owners out there who do not know about the failure rate (frequency) of their original White Nylon Tunnel Lines shown above. You MUST replace them, as your 911 is running a very certain risk of FIRE if the original lines crack or crumble when disturbed. Beware. Len.Cummings at verizon.net ![]() |
