Shampoo your rugs

While waiting for my seats to get upholstered I decided to shampoo my rugs today..what a difference.. nice and clean..I used a Bissell machine..can't wait for my sport seats to come back.

That looks great! What shampoo did you use? My rugs are a bit filthy.

Sorry, I did the carpet and mats..my front mats are faded. I will have to order new ones...I thought I was going to need new carpet until I shampooed them...the water was black after doing it.. the carpet fluffed up and is soft. The color came back
Very happy with the results.

If the mats are in good shape but just faded try a carpet dye.

I see...

but gotta ask if it smells like Gain after ! Those original OEM rugs have that fragrant (to some) "horsehair" backing, does the carpet cleaning work well on it ?

As for the horsehair backing I cannot say..I'm no expert and don't want to mess anyone's carpet ..I just know it worked for me..
