Seat Belt Rebuilders???

I seem to recall a discussion of seat belt rebuilders, but I cannot for the life of me find anything related to seat belt reconditioning in this forum. Anyone got any recollection of this?
I need to get the SC belts redone. I don't trust the 40+YO belts.
Thanks!
Pat

I had the non-retractable belts in my '72 re-webbed by https://seatbeltplanet.com who also can do retractable belts. I've also heard good things about https://www.ssnake-oyl.com

Reweb, plus whatever else they need. They retract slowly and can be hard to pull out. They are 40 years old. The internal mechanisms are somewhat fragile and intricate (based upon my inspection of an older 914 belt) for someone with no seat belt rebuilding experience.

My experience was the surprising cost increase of re-webbing old 911 seatbelts and new mechanisms Vs. just buying replacements. Labor intensive I'm sure. I went with new after getting quote from seatbelt planet, recommend you do that first and maybe two different vendors, before committing.

Buy new from the dealer. Why trust your life to rebuilt belts?

I used safety restore. The stitching was quite shotty but the service , price and turnaround was good.
