Raid interchangeable with Momo
I've currently got a Momo Prototipo steering wheel and was wondering if that's an easy swap to put in a Raid3 steering wheel. Does Raid use the same adapter as the Momo or would I need to purchase something to make this swap possible?

Correction, I've got a Momo Mod 07 wheel if it makes a difference.

You’ll need an adaptor. I’ll post what you need in a bit.

Ebay is another source. It's a relatively low-tech product. Source it in aluminum instead of steel.

Thanks Sherwood. I just confirmed that the adapter in the previous link is aluminum.

for reference...
Nardi/Personal/Raid wheels use a 6 bolt 74mm pattern. Momo uses a 6 bolt 70mm pattern. The adapters have offset holes for each bolt pattern. Just be careful that when clocking the wheel on the adapter that your Turn signal cancel tab ends up in the correct place. The best way would be to purchase the correct steering wheel hub for the wheel.

And be cautious with those eBay adapter rings. They aren't always concentric and you get a strange orbit instead of rotation of the wheel. At least the guy in the bottom of my tool chest did.

The adapter in question is to accommodate the different bolt patterns from one's current configuration. Thus, it's to change Momo to/from Personal/Nardi wheel bolt patterns. It's not rocket science and the proper multi-drilled aluminum plate doesn't have to cost more than 20 bucks.
