Bobasaurous, your sister sez that this is what happens when you decide to take the, "by the time I'm 80 years old" route to repairing your poor Targa! I told her that's a mean thing to say, but you know how she is!

She was always good at estimating job times.

As John stated there is trash in the WUR inlet screen.
Pull the WUR and stick it in the freezer overnight then blow through it backwards, from the outlet.

Been in the freezer for three days. LOL.

Control pressure stone cold 57 PSI with outlet side draining into a can.

Bob,

I am back home and will be testing and calibrating a batch of WUR-090’s this week. Pull out your WUR and send it to Philadelphia. You could have it back within a week after I received it. Merry X’mas and Happy New Year.

Tony

That sounds inviting. PM me your address. I am sure I have it buried in e-mails but please re-confirm.

What's funny is even with all of the posts I have made to help folks with basic CIS stuff, I have never touched the back side of the fuel distributor. It always came off as a unit. So I am going to be entering a new area.

Cleaning out the orifices and microchannels on the "back side" I would gladly leave to the pros.

But hey, go for it and post some pics. I'm sure Raw' can learn something from them for his CIS system !

Maybe, but Ronnie is pretty crafty, despite his polished persona.

I dropped the WUR in the mail today to Tony. I don't trust my gauges to calibrate and I tend to lose smaller stuff if pulled off task.

CIS sux!!!

And thanx for the compliment, brother Bobasaurous!

Oh, it was totally moderately bad if that is a choice. There was three year old gas in there but overlayed with a fresh 2 gallons every six months. It was brown colored and smelled like paint thinner. Turpentine comes to mind. Brown. Not deep brown but pretty damned brown.

Two takeaways for me are the scientific states of fuel to avoid with CIS: :D

DB (Deep Brown) or
PDB (Pretty Damned Brown)

That's awesome!

My accounting degree speaks for itself. Thank you for the recognition.

Bob,

I did the tests and your old control pressure was 38 psi. @68°F and WCP @ 54 psi.
CPP spec @ 68°.........29~35 psi.
WCP spec..................49~55 psi.

The rain and bad weather here Philadelphia has prevented me from sandblasting your dirty WUR. I want it to look nice and clean when you get it back from me this week. The problem is the micro screen filter is clogged and coated with some sort of varnish causing flow restriction and eventual high pressure reading.

Tony
