Door alignment correction - easy fix?

The passenger door on my race car (1970 tub) sits a little proud - anyone know what is involved in adjusting it? Is this a job better left to a body shop?

Cheers - Ryan

It is not hard to fix. Depending on where it is sticking out, adj. the hindge or latch so the door fits better

door alignment is determined by three points. Upper and lower hinge, rear latch plate.

to move the door back, insert more shims under hinges.
to tilt the door remove/add shims under hinges.
to move door in/out, adjust hinge for front, latch for rear.

Its pretty simple. Don't forget to buy the correct 12pt star tool to move the bolts. An allen/hex key will strip it.
