Which is better (rims), too late to turn back though

I painted my rims couple days ago, wanted to post some pictures so you could judge which is better (full silver, or black centers). The car is dirty and the pictures are poor, but...well here goes:

They are these old RIAL rims, I think they came out just fine, even though I was the one who painted those

I'd go with the original looking Fuchs. I've found that the BBS mesh are very dust retainings and never look clean after a few months of brake dust.

hmmh, i have seen the bbs wheels and I believe they look a bit different (Uglier =)), at least the "lip" on the rear wheels is deeper on these RIAL rims. The rims are painted silver and clearcoated so they can be cleaned with some degreaser/solvent and pressure washer.

looks good...I've seen the Targa bar polished, and that would compliment the wheels IMO

I like the silver look better personally, a polished targa bar would be nice with them too

I like the look of the black centers better, as they go nicely with the black targa bar. JMHO. Enjoy whatever you decide. I had a set of old BBS one piece wheels once that I sprayed black centers with silver lips and they looked pretty good, then I repainted them with a darker anthacite lip that I liked even better. This lent the wheels and car a "stealth" look. The best thing about most after market wheels is that it's OK to do whatever you want to them, and not lose a lot of sleep over them. Good luck.

Here are the Miami Vice special gold BBS wheels, 7&8"X16".

It is hard to tell from the pictures, but it seems like your rims the mesh is a little deeper than mine. Are they 7's or 8's?

It also looks like the lug nuts are recessed on the BBS's but protrude on yours.

Either way, the paint job looks fine to me.

Tom
