Tips on getting front evaporator motor off fan?
Bought a new Bosh motor, took out set screw..yes it came out easy..
And then the fan is stuck to motor. How do you get this off? Clips I’m missing, brute force? I’ve soaked it in so much penetrating oil, the old seized motor spins like a top...but she’s stuck to fan.. ![]() ![]()

If you’re replacing the motor anyway, you can try to destroy it to remove the fan. However, have you loosened the Allen screw holding the squirrel cage to the motor shaft? I seem to remember that I ended up pounding the shaft out of the cage with a punch, but you obviously need to support the cage collar to not destroy the fan.

Try heating and quick cooling of the fan bushing where it's connected to the motor shaft along with some more penetrating oil.
