NOS Bosch Spark Plugs W7DTC

I found 6 of these plugs, brand new and still in their boxes, in the glove compartment of my 72T. They're called Bosch Super Cu-Electrode and have 3 electrodes instead of just one. W7DTC is the number, .80mm.

Can't seem to find out if they're compatible with the car, and they're discontinued. Plus, no clue how I would gap these with three electrodes.

Anyone?

Thx!

Nick

Bosch plug decoder:
W = 14mm x 1.25
7 = Heat Range
D = 19mm reach, 17.5mm thread depth, 3mm plug tip protrusion
T = Triple electrode
C = Copper

Multi-electrode plugs don't get gapped in the traditional sense; factory pre-gapped.

Cross-references to Denso W20EPB and NGK BP6ET; looks like typically used on 80s to early 90s VAG 4/5 cylinder applications.

Hope this helps.

Thanks Fred, but my car was built to RS Specs and has Webers. I pulled Bosch W7DC's out of it.

Still ok?

NGK BPR7EIX is a better plug, unless you are burning oil. These are the Iridium tip, you can use their copper plug too, less expensive.

W7DTC is the triple-electrode version of the W7DC you pulled out
