225/45YR16 SO3s??

I saw the 225/45s and wondered if anyone is running them on the front of a SC or a Carrera with a 7" Fuchs wheel?

I called Tire Rack this morning and they are a full inch smaller than the 225/50s and thought they just might squeeze in with no tire clearence problems. Any one using them?

Yes, I switched from 225/50 to 225/45 with S03's on a 8" 951 fuch on the front. They were definetly smaller in circumference. I haven't road tested them yet but all signs seem positive. I'm still going to roll the lips on the front.

I am thinking about getting a set of 8" 951s. I ran 225 on my 7s before and like the bit of over steer they added. Just trying to decide whether to pass on the 8" 951s wheels, go back to 225s on the 7s instead of the 205s and save the extra cost of new wheels. Looks like the 45s would work to me but would like to hear from anyone actually using them before I spend the extra money on wheels.
