ignition wires

How often should you change your ignition wires? I have 100,000 miles on mine but the car still runs well. No "light show" at night or any other issues. I am all for maintenance but not for changing things that don't need it. I change the cap and rotor about every 20k or so and the plugs at each valve adjustment. What brand of wires do most have luck with? Factory wires are expensive; are they worth it?

Hi Ben, Seems like the general consensus around here are the Magnecor wire sets.. and the price is pretty resonable too.
I think Pelican sells them. New wires are a good way to spruce up the engine bay at a minimum.
I've been running NOLOGY wires for about 9 years or so..and so far I'm pretty happy with them. They are a little pricey though. But I sort of lucked out. When I found Nology they didn't even offer wire sets for Porsche so I worked out a deal with them. I Did the drawing packages for them for Porsche sets 1974 thru 1977 in exchange for my set.
Edit: I do run a Magnecore Coil wire..
