82 SC, what’s this connector in the tunnel for?

Hi folks. Anyone happen to know what this disconnected wire is for in the tunnel access, just under the center console? (Which is removed on mine). It looks green with white stripe. Not sure if the PO removed something?

Does your E-brake warning light work on the dashboard? Or the little 1" square box just behind the center console has a light to indicate whether the heater/blower levers are up or down. That's about all the electronics I recall at the south end of the center console.

Well, it's neither of those things. Still wondering what the heck this is. Notably, my seatbelt warning light doesn't work, I'm wondering if it is related to that?

Spare wire for manuals. Goes to shifter for sportomatic transmission.
