911 t -74
Hi all, im new to the forum so this is my first post :)
I am currently restoring a 1970 911 E, and i came across a 911 T 1974 that also needs attention, so this orginal restauration i am doing on the 70 is kinda going to my head. So is it a dealbreaker to step off the path on the 74 and go wide and low or should i maintain it, its kind of cool, orginal yellow with 114 in the gmodel serie, so it is very early G car. I’d finish up the restoration on the 70, and just wait and see what you decide on the 74. The early 2.7 G models are not as desirable, so you can do what you’d like once you’ve had time to think things over. You can easily spend much more restoring or modifying it than it would be worth, so it would have to be done to give you joy.

FWIW. There were no 1974 911T’s. It was the first short hood. While lumped with the later 2.7L 911’s, it is unique in that it was not burdened with the thermal reactors that killed the later motors. You have most of the best things in an earlier car with the extra zest of additional displacement.
I coul d be wrong, but a 1974 could be a great deal. |
