What is this part?

I'm going through and repairing all the little things on my 1987 930 Turbo and came across this area where the original fiberboard cover seems to be missing a large section. I'd like to replace this cover but not sure what the part number is, or if there's a good aftermarket solution. If you can't see, it's just to the right and and angling away to the right from the smugglers box cover.

I can’t see it .
Is it the cover for the steering linkage or the cover for the hvac blower you’re asking about ?

Great, thanks ian. That's a good starting point. Next thing is to figure out how to replace

Used from a dismantler unless you are going concours/full resto. It is covered by the frunk carpet.

For $80? Go new. Easy to replace

Definitely not concourse, and normally wouldn't care but as I go through and tackle the easy stuff, this stuck out like a sore thumb. Hard to swallow even $80 for this piece, much less $100+.
