help: 73T inner side member panel shape, behind heel panel
 

Hi all, this post is primarily aimed at anyone who has repaired the metalwork immediately behind the heel panel in a long nose, or impact bumper 911, and has pics... or anyone in possession of an inner side member panel...

This is a request for pics please to help me understand the precise shape of the section of inner side member panel 91150101246 immediately behind the bottom of the rear seat heel panel, so that I can make up a repair panel with the original shape and flanges. This area is immediately above the small triangle section that protrudes from the back outside corners of the rear floor panel sections. Without seeing the shape, it is difficult to understand if/how the inner side member, outer side member and floor section are joined together. Unfortunately, the stock pictures of new side member panels on the Tinternet are not detailed enough. I think that the flange on the inner side member continues behind the heel panel, but Im not sure and dont know where it ends or if it changes direction. Presumably the triangle section on the floor must close the gap behind the flange? Pics of the area of interest included below. Hope someone can help! Happy NY! Dean
