car back from the body shop w/ big gaping rectangular hole
in the right front fender there is an open hole rectangular in shape. I seem to recall some sort of aluminum vehicle info tag going there can anyone verify this?
I spoke w/ the owner of the shop and he seems to think it was there when it came in. surely I would have remembered a hole...there are either screw or rivet holes on either side of the rectangle so something must have been there.

If you were any more vague, this post wouldn't even exist.
![]() Having said that, if it is on the side, behind the fenderwell and about doorhandle high, it is probably where a European side marker light was once affixed.

Might have been an opening for A/C lines. Early 911s w/A/C have the high and low pressure lines running under the passenger side rocker panel and up through the RF fender. The plate (now apparently missing) contained a couple of grommeted holes for the A/C lines to pass to the expansion valve/evaporator in the smuggler's compartment.
Fabricate an aluminum cover and rivet in place, then paint to match. Sherwood Lee http://members.rennlist.org/911pcars |

Hmmm...... yeah, perhaps he meant to say "fenderwell" instead of fender. That makes a lot more sense.

How long did it take Tyson to become and 'Evil' ahole after moving to southern CA?
Just less than a year I think. Pretty soon, he'll be a screaming ahole like JimT, me, and a few others.
