Alternator Boot & Terminal
Currently have my alternator out, and need some advice about the main terminal. I cut the boot off because the wires looked in need of repair, but the soldered connection actually looks really good.
I’d like to replace the terminal and boot, but am having trouble finding the correct parts. Ordered one off eBay, but the inlet side is too small to work, Does anyone have a source for this boot and terminal? |
Quasimodo, I saw one on 914rubber.com yesterday when Looking at the relays they offer.

That looks like a good candidate, thanks!
|
Well the 914Rubber one was a good price and the seller shipped quickly, thanks!
Unfortunately, it’s a bit too small to work....search continues |
Try searching Summit catalog For wiring terminal boot. I found three, American auto wire 500057, Dorman 85684 & Quick Car 57-605. Not Porsche but one should work.

Thanks I’ll have a look there too.
|
Pm or email me, I have suitable terminals and boots.
|
I found a replacement at Aircraft Spruce.
