Anyone recognize this speedo?

Currently on a FS ad in Hemmings for a 912E.

Is this from a 914?
It's not anything like the speedo in my 912E.

Looks like an 911 SC speedo from an '80(?) - '82.5 when the 55mph interstate speeds were mandated. Many people ordered a replacement with the higher MPH scale right after buying a new SC. It was a common "upgrade" so lots of these OE US units shown above were in great working order gathering dust on shelves or put to use in a 912 as seen here.

if you till it, on upper inside is the part number,that should help you to say where it comes from

i thought the 55 speed limit was around 73' / 74' until????.
I think I remember driving from Hilton Head SC to NOLA and having to do 55 MPH.

yep 55mph speed limit enacted by nixon in '74 https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/National_Maximum_Speed_Law

85mph speedometer law came in '79 85 MPH Speedo
