Rear seat latch knob fell off

I flipped the rear seat up in my Anniversary Car to put something. In it. When I went to fold the seat back down I found the knob in the seat bottom. It’s not broke though at all, looks like it unthreaded from the pin. The problem is that there are no threads sticking out to allow the knob to catch on. Any one have a suggestion on how I can push the pin out far enough to get some threads to show, so I can thread the knob back on? I tried a magnet, but its not strong enough.

Chris,

Could you post a picture? Just to make sure I understand your predicament. Thanks.

The threaded part is spring loaded and retracts when the knob comes off. Push it back.
