Anyone use Falken Ziex ZE-512 tires?

Hi all.

Anyone use Falken Ziex ZE-512 tires? I have found through searches on the board that the Azenis tire made by this same company is a good one. While this Ziex model is a M+S all season tire, it is a very good price and I am considering them for my other car.

My choice is the new AVS yoko, but it is considerably more expensive and I may be selling this car this summer. These Yokos are not all seasons where the Ziex is which may (or may not) appeal to a potential buyer.

Thanks for any input.

I have the Ziex on my Acura. No complaints, They are sorta loud on the highway but I think all HP tires with a 50 series profile are that way.

I felt they were a great value. Particularly on the street I cant see the logic in $200+ tires with near DOT race rubber grip. I just never get that close to the edge on the street and I keep a second set of rims with race rubber for track stuff. Then again, I have been known to buy street tires at Pep Boys and I thought they were good tires :-))

By the way never have recieved any pics of the 15X7s from the guy in texas that was going to trade me for the 15x8s so that I could get your 16s. If it comes together I will let you know and see if you are still interested.

Thanks for the tire info. I will be buying 60 series so I hope they are not that loud. I had Falken snow tires that were VERY noisy. These Falkens are over $150 cheaper to me than the Yoko's. I'd rather spend the $150 on the 911.

I will be replacing Pirellis p600's M+S that were not bad tires all season but wore fast and also show age cracks on sidewalls and on the patch that were not much over 3 yrs old.

Oh yeah, I still have the fuchs, but will be attending a swap meet next week and may sell or swap them there.
