Luft 7 - May 31, 2020 on the East Coast
Got the official announcement email this morning. Anyone want to hedge their bets?
- Atlanta with the obvious tie to Porsche NA but not much historical context - Somewhere in New York with a tie to Max Hoffman (though this might step on the toes of Driven to America)

I think you are spot on. Atlanta is a logical choice with PECA and an easy international airport.
New York City would be more hip imho. Somewhere in the city would be nuts and I wouldn't put it past Luft, but it would be even more highly curated, which is where I think they are going anyway. This is going to be a hella fun drive for us West coast guys.

Came here looking to create or to find this thread. Very excited. Headed west for Luft 6 last year and it was a blast. Will definitely be there this year, hoping for NY metro area but in no matter what.
Wooo!

I hope it is Atlanta, but the snowy Colorado Hwy 82 teaser pic may be a clue to somewhere colder?

May 31 in Atlanta - outside equals a steamy, humid brew.

They are saying East Coast. I know everyone in SoCal thinks Atlanta is east coast but it's not.
My guess (based on hints that may not have been intentional) is NYC, maybe even Broadway/Times Square. It's on a Sunday morning. It would be crazy but not beyond them crazy. Excited to find out!

I like quaint cities, Savannah or Charleston would be interesting if unlikely. Atlanta is less appealing. Brooklyn seems more likely.

I, too, am looking forward to a road trip to DRT and then Luft. Agreed that Atlanta seems obvious and convenient, but NYC would be crazy. Can’t wait for additional info.

Atlanta has a movie set as well, a couple of nice private airports, amazing back roads and a famous racetrack nearby.. PCNA is just a bonus. NYC, now that could be interesting too, I hope they're up for the level of effort that will require. Should be interesting regardless of where they choose.
