what is the best way to remove stone guards?

Guys that remove clear bra/body wrap use steam heat....I'd get the top edge lifted/finger hold and use warm water in a spray bottle and a heat gun on low or a hair dryer....keep it very wet and warm while slowly peeling it away.

Heat gun on low and kerosene is what I used with ok results.

Thanks for the hints...dead of winter here so may wait til spring given need for heat to deactivate glue...i am hoping the paint is still good underneith..no way to tell without at minimum a partial removal...i could just leave until car gets re-painted in future..i just dont like their looks to be honest and my car is black!
