The car is a 1973 911T
What is the cause of this Bosch Rotors to sort of explode like this out of the black silicon area. It is a 6500 RPM limit rotor which is recomended for the 911T's. Is there any other Rotor brand available for the 1973 911's? Thank You for your responses ![]() |

I've had a rotor come apart in three pieces in a turbo motor before. My wrench said that he never saw that happen before. Put another one in of the same brand and worked for many years without problem. It's just one of those things.

The weird thing is that 2 rotors did these already in a matter of 2 weeks.
That was my second rotor to do that in a 2 week period. I will look into in further. |
