Celette- What it Does & Doesn't Align?
Trying to understand if a celette is helpful to repair my 72 911 coupe. The floor pan and floor are solid and original. I need to replace the drivers side door hinge plate that was incorrectly replaced. Both dood hinge posts are holed at the bottom and soft up to the bottom hinge plate, seem good above that. The drivers rear quarter has rust under the window just a Little too far rearward for the RD top to bottom patch. Everything through the center to the rear of the quarter is solid, just the leading edge at the latch plate and a strip under the window. I also need to mount new front fenders. And remount used replacement doors.
So is the Cellette used for these types of repairs or just for chassis alignment. TIA! Bill |
Not recommended for cooked teeth.
Recommended for extremely accurate frame straightening if the hit is not horrendous |
