996 water pipes
This should be posted under 996, but thought I would start here. 2005 996ttS. We have the engine out and are going to replumb the water pipes. Before I start searching the web for ''how to'', thought I would seek info from this forum. Thanks, Bob

I've pinned a 996tt and 997tt. are you looking for a DIY for the process? Do you have any that are currently leaking?

The one behind the alternator popped a couple of months ago and we fixed it. The owner, (we are a shop) would like to take some trips in this car and doesn't trust it at this point and I don't blame him. Bob

This is my DIY I did on the 997 but should mostly be the same for 996. Especially the pinning method. I pinned my 996tt before it ever had any issues and then sold it to a guy several years ago that drives it very hard. It has never failed using this method.
