Cold Start Valves

I have my cold start valve identified as faulty and will be replacing, was wondering if anyone can confirm if they are interchangeable for all CIS cars? All of my research and I cant seem to confirm. Have an NOS one located, just cant determine for sure if it will work for my 1980 SC. And the new ones arent cheap so figured I'd see what else is out there.

Csv...........

CSV’s are very robust and they seldom go bad. They failed too but you have to test them to confirm they are defective. How did you test it? PM me what number you need. I have boxes of CSV’s that would last me more than my life time. Just need the last 3 digits (Bosch ID #).

CSV testing.......

AVR,

I have not forgotten about you. Just got busy with other stuff and will bench test these CSV’s to separate the good ones. Send me a reminder by this weekend.

Evertime he shows us his bags with CIS content – I really can imagine how Tony's exceptional christmas three decoration will look like :-)

Bosch Cold Start Valve........

Alex,

Sorry for the delay. I had to revise my CIS bench tester to accommodate the cold start valve testing. So far, found only two (2) defective CSV from the lot. Double check the last 3 digits of your CSV and let me know. I have your shipping address already. Thanks.
