Quality distributor cap, rotor, sockets, wires...?

My '89 3.2 is running great, but my distributor cap looks a bit burnt, my wires look a bit chewed, and I have one irritatingly different plug socket from all the others, and one looked like it had debris or some such in it...So. I dunno when any of this stuff was last replaced, so I'm looking to do it all to get back to square one.

From what I've read, the quality of Bosch and Beru components seem to have degraded substantially since their 20th century OEM days, so I'm wondering if anyone has some recommendations on which components to buy. If it comes down to it, I'll pay the Genuine Porsche tax, but I want to be sure it's of the same quality, and not just from the OEM manufacturer (eg, Bosch and Beru)...I'd be happier to pay less for better components, of course...

People seem to like Clewett for wires. Anyone have a lead on the rest (bought somewhat recently)?

If there's an opportunity to beautify the engine bay with clever routing, I'm all eyes...It's a bit of a jumble in there currently.

I’m running a 123 distributor so no help there but I am running magnecore wires and am very happy with quality, performance and fit. As for creative routing it’s not for everyone but here’s how I did my 3.0

Interesting. Does the 123 offer much for a stock motor that isn't going to get tuned/modified?

Anyone have good luck with a recently purchased Bosch/Beru ignition components??

Bosch dist. cap and rotor with Clewett wires and NGK plugs here. No complaints.
