90154349320 sealing strip replacement

I can't work out how specifically this is fitted, goes on the hinged front edge of the rear 1/4 windows somehow. Picture would be great, is it glued in place, do the hinge screws go through it....?

Thanks again
Mark

My pop-out windows do not have this strip by the hinges.
Could it be the padding underneath on the inside of the pillar?
BTW, I just used some of my wife’s quilt batting.
Cheers,
Johan

I purchased two of those for mine as well and have yet to work out how they are supposed to fit, or where, exactly.

Cant remember off the top of my head, but pretty sure it has three screws that mount it to the B pillar.

Apparently they get bonded to the remaining painted outer face of the B-pillar, between the 1/4 hinge & the door weather seal rubber, it was explained to me ....as to cover over the body paint color showing though when door and/or 1/4 window are opened.

My car's black so has little impact, I'll upload a pic when I fit them.

Just did these last week. Glues to the leading edge of the pillar, inside the door seal channel.
