Removing fog lights
 

I'm sure someone out there knows: Can I remove the front fog lights without having to remove the front valance on my 1984 Carrera? Thanks!

Yes. In fact I can't imagine removing the valence without the fog lights removed. Remove the lenses and bulb housing. Disconnect the wires and push the grommet through the back of the metal base. Remove the bolts using a 17 mm socket and it's out.

Yes, make sure you get all of the hardware out, including the plates behind the valance, so they don't fall out on the road (that would never happen to me..). The wiring is very easy to unplug and route through the body, no need to cut anything.
