86 carerra door handle lock cylinder replacement

Need to replace both door handle lock cylinders. Porsche PET lists a whole new handle assembly instead of just the cylinders for 85 and up. I called Tony the key man and left message if he knows of another solution. Anybody have another idea?
Thanks! Mark

Woody, my SC was like that when I got it 25 years ago and it hasn't got any worse. I woldn't worry about it unless it annoys you when you see it.

If you really wanted to change it I'm sure a locksmith could make the, thingie what's it's, inside a second hand (or brand new) barrel match your key.

Do you still need them? I have a brand new set of Dansk ones with four keys I would sell.
