anyone have an idea which engine this is
 

The guy cant find the #`s by the fan and offers no other info. My redbook skips those #`s he posted in the auction.

Page 201 of the new engine book says that this is from a 911E-E, type 911/52, from 1972. 2.4L, 165HP, compression ratio of 8.0:1. There's more info, but then again, you know this stuff - you're car is on the back cover!

Just to add a little bit to what Wayne said:

6224037: According to Boschen and Barth's "The Porsche Book", this engine was a 911/62 built in '71 for a 911E sportomatic (gearbox 925/00).
