Question Paint Gas Tank

Anybody know what color to use? I would like to touch up the gas tank over the original stone guard texture. I currently have the tank out for cleaning and would like to paint it.

Thanks

Try PPG's "Dove Grey" in the fleet color book.

Any automotive paint supply store will have a fleet color book.

I believe this is what the factory uses...Pelican probably carries it as well....just couldn't find online.

I found the Wurth gun to be very forgiving when applying the product. It's easy to achieve a nice uniform coat. I have 2 of the guns..I think they may be slightly different. I had no idea they went for $60 a pop.

I used an eastwood undercoat gun. Also works great for spraying por15 in rockers and under battery trays.
