Shock absorbers with spherical bearing/ball joint

I am looking for shock absorbers that have on one end a spherical bearing/ ball joint and a stud on the other side.
Do you know a company that sells such shock absorbers ?

Spherical bearing something like this one

Yes, I used Koni 3012's on the rear of my 911..

If you change the upper mount a world of options opens up regards to shock choices..

TimT,
thanks for your answer. It seems Koni can do that upgrade. In the catalog there is an eye spherical bearing upgrade. I will give them a call.

The rear Bilstein RSR shocks at Rebel Racing appear to have that feature

Rebel Racing Products offers steel-bodied rear Bilsteins, threaded upper stem, spherical bearing lower mounts and custom-valved per customer specs (spring type, spring rate, ride height, vehicle weight, tire compound, operating conditions, etc.).

They can be sourced here:

Here's a comparison between the above product and a Bilstein RSR racing shock (shock body length varies according to application and ride height:

Bilstein also supplies the needed components to use coil-over springs.
