Need an 1985 911 Wiring Diagram

So, my 1971 VW camper now has a rebuilt 1985 3.2 flat 6 with PMO carbs but I need to build a custom wiring look with 1985 parts for gauges, engine etc and VW for lights.

Anyone have a clear wiring diagram with wire colour included?

The factory diagram Is in black/white and a real pain to follow with all the electronics of the car.
One note, through the 14 pron connector information wires are in the same place as say a 78 SC which diagrams are color coded
With carbs, you should be running a pre 78 distributor and 3 prong CD to locate your tach drive as the carrera tached through the brain harness.

I have the same need for my '89 rebuild, there is a set in color available online....but not very good, as the color rendition is poor and worst of all, it does not show where the connectors are in the various circuits.

I finally just resorted to using the Bentley book B/W versions plus judicious use of a VOM plus just common sense in that it is not too often that Porsche changes wire colors through a connector...but they do.....

Hmmm, I had a 1971 tin top camper and have a 1985 911...I never thought of combining them into a single vehicle.

I rewired most of my 1985 911 by using the Bentley and the Haynes manuals. I thought for wiring the Haynes manual was much better. Although it is diagrammed in black and white, the Haynes manual had the wiring colors coded in text for each run and a depiction of the connection spots. My recollection was that there were alot of similarities to the VW schemes.
