What is this connector?

I have one on each side of the front trunk but they are disconnected. I tend to think they may be the wires to my power mirrors since the mirrors are disconnected but Im not sure.

Ok, so I assume I am missing part of the harness then. Where do those two plugs connect to?

So is that wire, which looks like a male plug connector running to my mirrors or somewhere else? I tried to follow it on the drivers side and it looks like it joins into a bigger wire harness that is behind my dash and then continues on to the passenger side of the car.

Yes, the harness you have will look like this one. part.no 911 612 164 03

https://www.kroonwireharnesses.com/wire-harness-lhd?search=911%20612%20164%2003

It runs from left to right and is supplied from the front fusebox.

So if I have that wire and I have the wire hanging from the mirrors inside the door then what parts am I missing?

I am missing the mirror switch over button under the dash and I have gotten in behind the gauges but cant seem to even find the connector to add the button.

If I have the wire int he picture then it looks like it should have that part of the cable but I cant find it.

If you follow the brown wires from the supply harness connected to the ground loop from the dashboard, you should be able to find the wires for the left/right selector switch. Three wire's, blue, green and black-yellow. Another wire (grey-green) is connected to your rear window heater switch.
