Supporting Plate Fitting Issue

After having rebuilt the passenger side rear trailing arm top to bottom (so to speak), I set off to complete the other side. However I've run into an issue I didn't have on the passenger version.

Specifically I bought new supporting plates that fit over the trailing arm near the wheel bearing (see #15 on the diagram - part 911.352.081.30). The one on the passenger side fit nicely, however the drivers side seems to be a bad fit. These are Porsche OEM pieces I should add.

Has anyone else experienced this?

Also trying to figure out how to make it fit over without beating it to pieces with a mallet / wood. Already tried heating it and that didn't seem to help along with a bit of WD40 to see if it will slide over.

Mystery solved - turns out I was sent 2 different versions. They are just very slightly different so I'm thinking one is perhaps for an earlier 911 model to mine.
