You mean besides needing an AFM?

rcwaldo 04-09-2003 01:06 PM

you didnt replace those fuel lines with new ones???? I dont know, whats wrong with it. The intake system is a mock-up assy right?

Chris

Tim Walsh 04-09-2003 01:07 PM

and an oil cooler? I think..

also what is that car in the back? it doesn't look right to me

Rick Lee 04-09-2003 01:08 PM

Oh, and I don't see any beer cans in the background either. You have a lot of work to do.

Lucky 04-09-2003 01:11 PM

Lift intake manifolds off, install sheet metal, put the intake back on but rotate 180 degrees first-- the heater blower motor mounts need to be at the flywheel end of the engine.

john walker's workshop 04-09-2003 01:12 PM

that quarter panel looks funny.

Eric Coffey 04-09-2003 01:13 PM

The intake is on backwards.

Encyclopedia Brown solves them all! Wow - good call John.

Somone ran off with your fan shroud?

Tom

johncj8989 04-09-2003 01:18 PM

There is a piece of plastic over the manifold. Hey man you had better remove that! I like the transparent fan shroud setup, where do I get one?

MotoSook 04-09-2003 01:29 PM

It's not in your car! You better not be doing anything else to keep from going to Blackhawk! No more excuses!

Really, what's up Kevin?

Jamie79SC 04-09-2003 01:36 PM

It's running outside of the car.

KTL 04-09-2003 01:48 PM

Geez! I think this is the most replies i've ever received to one of my postings. ;)

Lucky got what I was implying first. The intake is on backwards.

But I must give credit to Chris/rcwaldo in that I did not replace that "Y" fuel line when I had the motor out a few years back. Shame on me. Hope I don't burn to the ground like Ray's 951! Sorry Ray.

The quarter panel looks funny because of the red shop rag used to cover the hook for the service bra thing.

Yep no oil cooler and the car looks weird because it has no bumper, motor or trans in it.

Easy there Souk. Nothing crazy happening. Still waiting for those Canadian wheels to arrive.............. Should be here in a week I hope.

MotoSook 04-09-2003 01:57 PM

OK Kevin. I calmed down...got to get away from the office for some relaxation soon or I'll start pulling my hair out. Glad the worst is not so.:D

KTL 04-09-2003 02:00 PM

And here's how your car sits after replacing the rear shocks (Bilstein sport- if that matters????) and yanking the A/C

That back end is waaaay up there! Front could use some help too.

MotoSook 04-09-2003 02:03 PM

Man, I can't wait to see that car now. Can I eat off the clean wheel wells? :D

KTL 04-09-2003 02:06 PM

You can eat my dust Souk.

That would be the dust that the thing has collected since November, I believe? :D

MotoSook 04-09-2003 02:09 PM

Pheew! I thought this was going to be another SC -vs- Carrera thread :D

But,...bring it on!
