Your car was straightened by a frame machine and checked by a cellette bench?

That means metal had to move from somewhere.

If it were me, I would borrow a factory fender and check it. A short hood fender would do.

My guess is that it won't fit well either.

Then start banging on it😀

I can send you a video of how I aligned mine, it wasn't pretty.

tperazzo, I'll let Edward chime in on the alignment mechanism but if you have a video that you could share that would be fantastic.

On the fender front, I'll have to figure out where to get one from here in Austin considering the current situation.

Quick update: we are fortunate to have a local autoshop lend us a couple of fenders today. Hopefully this will tell us where the main problems lie (i.e. the body or the fenders)

OP - how did this turn out? I’m in Houston with an 80sc as well, also looking to backdate to ST style.
